Seventy-one people came out on the Saturday before Valentines day to enjoy time with their VCC family. Class Act Catering, run by Don and Valerie Dean and their crew, set the stage for a wonderful evening of delicious food, great fellowship and fun. The room looked festive, with special decorations made by Juanita Dobyns, Sharalyn Morgan, Michele Braley, and MaryLou Fulkerson. We even had fountains flowing with pink and red punch and pink fudge on the tables!
After Pastor Tom prayed for the food, we were served Caesar salad, and then went to the buffet line to have our plates heaped with Don’s special bbq tri-tip, chicken, and delicious side dishes. After dinner, Michele Braley led us in some fun trivia games – all about love. Do you know who Yogi Bear’s girlfriend was? How about the name of a TV sitcom from the 1960’s about love? It was obvious from the laughter (and the pictures you can see below) that a great time was had by all who attended.
